Cultural Reflections: Indigenous and Folk Art
Silent Auction June 9 to June 25, 2010
Murray Clerkson’s unique collection of folk art with over 100 Quebec and East Coast carved pieces will be displayed at the Arts Centre in June.

The Clerkson Collection Part 3: An Eclectic Vision

There is more to come! The final Clerkson Silent Auction will feature approximately 150 individual pieces including works by well known artists such as Louis de Niverville, Pat Fairhead, Tony Urquart, Sorel Etrog, Otis Tamasauskas, April Hickox and Katherine Hobart.

The $1000.00 Award was created by the BMFA to provide encouragement and recognition for artistic development and is open to any individual or group residing in the Georgian Triangle whose project will provide a benefit to the community. Application forms and information are available by calling 705-445-3430 or visiting the BMFA website.
