GBACA is an Art Association created in the early 1980's by the Blue Mountain School of Landscape Painting. They wanted other artists to know what was happening in their own "world of art". It was hoped that the artists might create various art activities. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Georgian Bay and the Blue Mountains, this rapidly growing group of talented artists now has regular shows which allow the GBACA members an opportunity to display and sell work to the public. Our current membership is 170 talented artists. GBACA also sponsors an annual show and sale each August long weekend in Collingwood, Ontario. This popular art and craft event attracts exhibitors and art lovers from all over Ontario (see "Events" page).
